Pre-Clinical Sciences:
2 years [4 semesters]

Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Community Medicine and Introduction to Clinical Medicine
Clinical Sciences:
2 and ½ years [5 semesters]
Subjects:
Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Orthopedics, Psychiatry
Compulsory Rotating Internship:
1 year
Criteria for Eligibility
To be considered eligible for selection to the MBBS program, a candidate:
- Must have qualified 10+2, A Level or equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) securing a minimum of 50% in each PCB subject (which, in general, equals to minimum ‘C’ grades for Sri Lankan A Level and ‘D’ grades for International A Levels e.g., EDEXCEL/Cambridge) and 50% in aggregate.
- Must have qualified Medical Entrance Test (MET) of the Medical Education Commission, Govt of Nepal or 50% percentile in NEET/SAT/equivalent exams.t exams.
